Youth Scholarship

General Information
The WWCCA Youth Scholarship will provide for tuition assistance at the applicant's chosen college. Scholarship(s)will be awarded solely for proven leadership abilities and academic potential. Financial need is NOT a requirement.

Application deadline is March 31st annually. WWCCA will notify the scholarship recipients of the amount awarded by May 31st.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Submit applications and transcript from high school or evidence of successful completion of the GED examination.

Demonstrate leadership abilities and have scholastic potential.

Be from a family who is a voting member of WWCCA

Have two character evaluations by high school counselors, principal, teacher, or former employer,

Previous recipients of this scholarship are ineligible for one year.

Application Procedure:
Scholarship applications forms may be obtained from Walla Walla County Extension office, 328 West Poplar, Walla Walla, WA 99362. Applications must be submitted to the Walla Walla County Extension office (Attn: Cattlemen's) at above address.
