Interested in Purchasing an Animal?

If you are new and wanting to purchase an animal, we have several methods to serve you.

• You may purchase a whole animal and choose to have it custom butchered. A good way to fill your freezer with top quality Beef, Pork, Lamb, and Goat! You may also choose to split it with a friend. You have the option of coming to the sale and bidding on an animal yourself. If you cannot make it to the sale or if you prefer, a representative of the sale committee will do the bidding for you. The Walla Walla Cattlemen will arrange transportation to a custom butcher participating in the sale.

Pool Buyer

What? The Cattlemen solicit and collect money from businesses and individuals who wish to support the Youth Sale but are not able to attend the sale or do not wish to purchase an entire animal. This money is considered ”pool” money. The Cattlemen organizes 4-6 buyers who spend this money throughout the sale. Pool money is largely responsible for keeping the bidding prices up so that all exhibitors receive an average price. An animal purchased through the pool may have numerous buyers attached to it.

 

When? Donation requests will be accepted starting August 1st, until Saturday August 30th at 6pm

 

How? Please email wwccyouthmarketsale@gmail.com using the Subject Line to indicate “Pool Buyer Donation.” Please include your full contact information such as name/business, address and phone number, so we can bill you for your donation after the sale.

Exhibitor Add-On

What? An add-on is money added to the sale price of the animal after the animal has sold. Individuals or businesses wanting to help support the exhibitor give this money.

When? Donation requests will be accepted August 27th for Qualified Exhibitors until September 5th at 6pm

 

How? Please email wwccyouthmarketsale@gmail.com using the Subject Line to indicate “Add-On Donation” with the qualified exhibitors name and amount. Please include your full contact information such as name/business, address and phone number, so we can bill you for your donation after the sale.

Billing Note: Individuals submitting requests on behalf of another party are responsible for ensuring that the respective party fulfills their payment obligations. Billing statements are issued in mid-September via mail or email.
